NCCU’s Blood Drive Needs You to ‘Keep the Dream and People Alive’


As the university celebrates its Centennial year and the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, North Carolina Central University is working to bank a record-breaking blood drive.

NCCU, Durham, and Triangle communities are invited to schedule appointments but walk-ins are welcome to the Miller – Morgan Building on Nelson Street on Monday, January 18, from 3 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.; Tuesday, January 19, from 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; and Wednesday, January 20, from 12 noon – 5:30 p.m.

NCCU Eagle Institute Orientation - Summer 2010

The summer 2010 orientation dates are now available on our Orientation and FYE website.

These sessions are designed for incoming fall 2010 NCCU students. During the sessions, you'll meet with an academic advisor, register for fall courses, meet other NCCU students, and participate in activities and workshops to help you learn about life at NCCU!

Remember that orientation is $125 for incoming freshmen and $50 for transfer students. The orientation fee is due at the time of registration. The online registration process for orientation sessions will begin on January 31, 2010.

Incoming fall 2010 Freshmen: Join us on Facebook! Log into Facebook and search for the NCCU Class of 2014 (Official). As of today, there are almost 100 students in the group and growing! Join the group to meet other students, find a roommate, or ask questions!
